You have reached the Myshin Law home page. My practice is limited to representing
criminal defendants throughout Central Pennsylvania. Primarily, I represent criminal
defendants charged with serious felony offenses in the Middle District of
Pennsylvania. I am familiar with the different local rules that are
applied in all 4 federal vicinages; including Harrisburg, Williamsport,
Wilkes Barre, and Scranton. In addition to representing private clients
for a fee, I have been a member of the Criminal Justice Act panel for many
years representing indigent defendants in complex, multiple defendant
criminal cases where there is a conflict of interest with the Federal
Public Defender. Each case and every defendant represented by this
office is given the same high level of attention regardless of their financial situation.
Although my practice is located in Central Pennsylvania, I began practicing
in 1984 as a criminal trial attorney with the Assistant District Attorney?s
office in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. When I left the District
Attorney?s office in 1989, I represented clients throughout Western
Pennsylvania; primarily in Allegheny, Fayette, Washington and Westmoreland
counties. Relocating to Central Pennsylvania in 1996, I have appeared in
Harrisburg, Carlisle and New Bloomfield representing criminal defendants
charged with felonies and misdemeanors in Dauphin, Cumberland and Perry counties.
All told, I have over a quarter century of experience representing defendants
charged with serious criminal offenses such as: drug trafficking; robbery and
interfering with interstate commerce (Hobb?s Act); criminal conspiracy;
unauthorized use of access devices, money laundering, counterfeiting, and related
forgery and fraud offenses; white collar offenses including false statements;
student loan fraud, wire fraud and mail fraud; unlawful possession of a firearm
and related firearms violations; wiretapping and wire communication offenses;
and various other crimes.
